What is it?
A 3-day mystery game adventure is an adventure, and it’s also a game. It’s full of mysteries that need to be unraveled, and it lasts 3 days.
That’s the obvious answer, but maybe you’re still asking: so what exactly is it?!
Well, let us start by saying that it’s a rather unique concept. Which means it’s not easy to explain in just a few words. You could say it’s an escape room that makes you stay with up to 7 other teams in a rural hotel, including breakfasts and dinner. And that you’ll also be exploring charming and beautiful landscapes and villages in the surroundings. And parts of the hotel and its premises will get a temporary make-over to make the immersion complete and make sure that you feel you’re part of something special.
The game - or the adventure - starts after check-in on day 1 and ends after dinner on day 3. It’s not a game that you turn on and off, but an immersive experience you will be part of. That doesn’t mean that it’s a constant adrenaline rush. You will definitely have time to take in the beautiful scenery of the surrounding vineyards, take a rest or start a conversation with fellow players. It just means, that throughout the whole weekend things happen that can lead you further into the story and closer to solving the mystery of The Santa Compaña Curse.
Who created it?
The Santa Compaña Curse is created by Klaudia and Edwin, both former creators of Wacky Wheels Mystery Games. Having organised road trip escape games in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain, we now changed our tune by picking one scenic location for this new concept. Having one ‘base camp’ for the game - hotel ‘3 Cabras Perdidas’ - we can make more epic and elaborate puzzles and decor. It also makes things easier for you as the participant, you don’t need to sort out your accommodation and find places to eat anymore. The stay, breakfast and dinner are now included in the event and in the price.
And despite the single location, there’s still plenty to explore in order to solve the mystery!
For those who have never participated in a Wacky Wheels event and don’t know us yet: we are a couple living in the Galician countryside, surrounded by nature. In this inspiring setting, we undertake a lot of creative things, both as a hobby as for our work. We love developing and designing board and escape games as much as we love playing them. For The Santa Compaña Curse, we drew inspiration from the rich history and the many legends of Galicia.

From your arrival to your departure, you can fully focus on the game without having to organise your accommodation or figure out where to have dinner. And we promise: those dinners will be worth it!
You’ll sleep in the place where the game is played. Who knows, there might even be clues right there in your room! You’ll be totally immersed, and we’re sure you’ll love it!
