TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The Event
“The Santa Compaña Curse" is a 3-day immersive mystery event. Due to the boutique nature of the experience, each event is strictly limited to a small number of participating teams.
2. Booking and date selection
Your booking is valid only for the specific dates selected at the time of purchase. Confirmation is subject to receipt of full payment. Prices are per team (Double or Triple room). We do not "hold" rooms without payment.
3. Cancellation policy
Because our events have extremely limited capacity and require significant logistical preparation for each team, all bookings are strictly non-refundable.
Date changes: Bookings cannot be moved to future dates once confirmed.
Transfer policy: You may transfer your booking for your specific dates to another team. You must notify the organizers of the new participants' details at least 48 hours before the scheduled start of the event.
4. Exclusions & additional costs
The package price includes accommodation (3 nights), specified meals (breakfast and dinner), and all game-related materials and activities. Any costs not explicitly listed are the sole responsibility of the participants. This includes, but is not limited to:
Transportation to and from Arbo (Flights, trains, or car rentals).
Daily lunches and extra snacks/beverages outside of provided meals.
Any kind of insurance.
Damage to the property.
5. Participant conduct & safety
While the game involves exploration of rural areas, participants are responsible for their own safety. You must follow all local laws and respect the venue staff and other participants. We reserve the right to remove any participant acting in a way that is dangerous or disruptive to others without a refund.
6. Liability
The organizers are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event. We strongly recommend all international participants carry travel insurance.
7. Minimum Participation Threshold
The successful execution of "The Santa Compaña Curse" relies on a minimum level of group synergy and logistical viability, which requires a minimum of 5 registered teams for each session to proceed. The organizers reserve the right to cancel any scheduled session if this threshold is not met until 2 months prior to each event. In the case of a cancellation due to low participation, all registered teams will receive a 100%full refund of the booking fee. This refund will be processed via the original payment method within 14 days of the cancellation notice.
If the event is cancelled under this clause, the organizers are responsible only for the refund of the booking fee. The organizers are not liable for any external costs such as flights, car rentals, or other travel arrangements. We strongly recommend taking that into account when planning your travels.
8. Force Majeure and Unforeseen Circumstances The organizers shall not be held liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, their obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by a Force Majeure event. This includes, but is not limited to:
Acts of God (floods, fires, earthquakes, or extreme weather preventing access to Arbo).
Epidemics, pandemics, or government-mandated lockdowns and health restrictions.
War, strikes, civil unrest, or acts of terrorism.
National or regional emergencies and infrastructure failures (extended power or water outages at the venue).
In the event that a Force Majeure event forces the cancellation of the event:
The organizers will notify all participants as soon as reasonably possible.
The organizers will offer participants a credit for a future "Chapter" or rescheduled date.
The organizers are not responsible for any secondary costs incurred by the participants, such as non-refundable flights, train tickets, or car rental fees. We strongly advise all participants to maintain comprehensive travel insurance to cover these external risks.
